Continued from Income Tax. Is it Legal? Part 1

This is a rather controversial view of tax »”>Income tax first published on the Tax Axe. It is not the view of this web sites owner and has only been published here to stimulate debate.

This article calls for the restoration of a Constitutional government. Such a government would be rational and frugal. It would not interfere with our lives, or meddle with foreign nations; it would protect our right to live in peace with ourselves and our neighbors, and in security of the privacy of our affairs. It would do so with the least amount of interference. The American people need to come to grips with what we have lost by allowing politicians to lead us to Democracy, and how, by restoring a Constitutional government, we could once again call ourselves free.

Constitutional Grievances- the “Intolerable Acts”

Congress passes laws it does not read. This is treason. The President signs Bills into law without reading them. This is treason.

Congress has not taxed wages or salaries paid to the average working American, but insists we owe an unidentifiable tax. This is treason.

The Executive Branch cannot collect taxes from the States. That “Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes…” means Congress collects what Congress lays. The Executive cannot be given power to collect from the States.

America does not need, does not want, and cannot afford a standing army. To maintain one in peacetime is unconstitutional. The military must be retired, except for a navy sufficient to patrol our shores, and sufficient personnel to oversee the training and discipline of the State Militias.

The Federal government cannot prosecute crimes in States not enumerated in the constitution. It can punish piracy, treaty violations, treason, and counterfeiting. There are no other criminal violations against the United States. Crimes against the United States are crimes against the peace and security of the Union. There are no Federal Civil issues that cannot be tried in State Courts. We have Federal District courts in all our States that have no authority to try anything. They must be abolished.

The judiciary has betrayed our trust by ruling in favor of “income tax” and numerous other Federal laws that do not apply to us. Being incapable of understanding the role of Federal government, the entire judiciary should be de-benched.

These are only a few of our grievances. Congress cannot tax people directly. The Executive Branch cannot collect taxes from the States or their people. Every Representative, every Senator, every Judge, every other Officer in service to America, takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Presumably, that means that they will study the Constitution and go by it. They are traitors to their oaths. They deliberately misinterpret the Constitution and cause all sorts of mischief and grief.
